Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established independent firm as they look to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their high performing SME division in Leeds. The position will initially be for 12 months to support during a period of growth with the potential to go permanent. My client is an employer of choice in the local market and has offices in both South and West Yorkshire. This role will lead on all contractor services matters and the successful applicant will be expected to lead a team of three. Responsibilities: To lead a small team of accounts team, advising of any tax/accounts queries On-board new clients to ensure they are enrolled for all relevant services Action any payroll requests and queries FRS105 Accounts production Corporation tax returns Liaise with personal tax team to ensure all accounts queries are resolved Requirements: A minimum of 4 years' experience working within the profession Both qualified and qualified by experience will be considered Staff management experience is desirable Experience preparing accounts for sole traders and SMEs is essential Working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software is essential What's on offer: A 12-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity for the role to become permanent Highly competitive salary benefits Flexible working Open to part-time applicants Team management experience If you meet the criteria for this role and are interested in being put forward, please do not hesitate to apply or contact me to discuss.
