Python Developer London £50,000 - 70,000 I'm currently working for a leading car finance provider in London who is looking for strong Python developers to join one of their machine-learning based teams. This role will sit within their lending team that analyses how "risky" a potential customer is, and then using machine learning, predict how much money to lend the customer and at what interest rate. They currently have the lending platform built in Java that they are looking to migrate completely to Python, and need someone to come in and take ownership of this whole migration. If you are a strong developer with experience building robust, scalable microservices in Python then please get in touch THE COMPANY: My client is a leading car finance provider for the UK and have been around for 5 years now. They provide both the car options through their e-commerce site, and the financing through their own lending scheme. They have gone through some great funding rounds, have achieved 1000% growth and have lent £1bn last month alone. THE ROLE: Your role working as a Python Developer will involve the re-build of their lending infrastructure in scalable, robust Python microservices. You will have complete ownership over this project and will take the lead role as they bring on more Python Developers later this year. Other responsibilities will include: Writing high quality, clean code. Assist in architecting systems and applications Be an actively contributing member of the team Take an enthusiastic approach to Unit Testing See writing automated tests as a benefit YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: What your role as a Python Developer will require: Strong academic background Commercial experience as a Python Developer Experience deploying work onto AWS Experience building scalable microservices or migrating monolithic structures into microservices Strong team player Good communicator THE BENEFITS: The salary for your role as a Python Developer is between £50,000 - 70,000.
