Indirect Procurement/Category Manager 6 Month Contract Aerospace Manufacturing Coventry My client is a global manufacturing group specialising in extreme environment components and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defence and energy markets. They are seeking an Indirect Procurement/Category Manager on an initial 6-month contract to help them with their professional corporate service functions. Indirect Procurement/Category Manager In this position you will be developing, procuring approval, and executing commodity strategies across a specific site, division or globally. You will also be responsible for: Managing professional services (recruitment, travel & events) Delivery of strategic targets for assigned commodity/sites, and support, and act as a champion for the global procurement transformation project Responsible for delivery of strategic targets for assigned commodity/sites, and support, and act as a champion for the global procurement transformation project Negotiations regarding legal agreements Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications Extensive experience of the following Categories/Subcategories: o Professional Services (HR Services, Recruitment, Insurance, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Corporate Consultancy) o Travel (TMC, Airlines, Hotels, Car Rental, Fleet Management,) o Other Services (Events Management & related Services, Translations Services, Promotional items etc.) Ability to develop and implement a commodity strategy, covering all aspects such as cost/quality/delivery etc across multi sites CIPS qualified Strong negotiation skills
