Overview
An established and growing high street firm with a good reputation in the local area, is seeking an experienced conveyancing solicitor/qualified conveyancer (open to part-time/flexible working hours, 4 days p/w) to join them in Preston. You'll be joining a small/friendly conveyancing team where you'll manage a non-volume, quality residential property caseload from inception through to completion. The firm has a real focus on client care and therefore, caseload size is notably lower than other firms in the area. Your caseload will include: Sales & purchases Leases Equity release Transfers of equity Remortgages Land registry matters. You will play an active part in networking with introducers/developing new clients, therefore, the ability to build and manage client relationships is essential. You must be a qualified conveyancer (legal executive/licensed conveyancer) or conveyancing solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in handling a varied residential property caseload of your own, as you'll be working with little supervision. Current or previous experience in private client, wills/probate would be highly desirable although not essential. Also, experience in using a case management system would be preferred. On offer is a competitive salary, negotiable depending on the level of experience, bonus, flexible working (open to 4 days per week), on-site parking and clear career progression as the conveyancing team grows.
