Applications Manager, Business Systems Manager As a result of an exciting period of change and transformation, this is a newly-created position for an experienced Business Systems Manager or Applications Manager to join this leading, Kettering-based employer. Managing a small team comprising of a Tester and Application Support Analysts, the Business Systems Manager / Applications Manager will become the focal point within IT for the business applications that are core to my client’s operations. The Business Systems Manager / Applications Manager will work across the full lifecycle of applications projects, relating to the user interfaces, requested enhancements, upgrades, integrations, etc., as well as ensuring that all BI/reporting needs are met. The Business Systems Manager / Applications Manager will also oversee the creation and implementation of the necessary processes, procedures and tools to ensure fit for purpose application support. As the majority of the applications are commercially available, there is a strong service delivery element to this role, with the Business Systems Manager / Applications Manager working closely with the relevant vendors and 3rd parties, to ensure that they are able to do their job, whilst holding them accountable to agreed service schedules and SLAs.
