Overview

Adecco are seeking an Electronics Production Engineer for their client based on the outskirts of Exeter. A key skill advantage would be experience of Basic National Instruments LabVIEW design & support skills. The purpose of the role is to provide support across all manufacturing production machines and processes whilst supporting the Technical team and Managers. Responsibilities: To assist the Technical Manager & Manager by identifying efficient cost-effective technical improvements. To continually improve quality and speed of manufactured products. To actively participate in Kaizen events and operational Lean activities. To ensure that customer requirements are always met. To effectively communicate with external suppliers. To create detailed Standard Operating Procedures to support manufacturing processes. To Manage and Maintain Test Equipment Calibrations. Experience required: 3 -5 years' experience in a similar field. Minimum or HNC or HND in electronics or electrical engineering. Previous experience in an electronic manufacturing environment. Skills and knowledge required: Understanding of RF products in the HF and UHF frequency bands Basic National Instruments LabVIEW design & support skills. Knowledge of ICT and ATE machine/s Basic Knowledge of SMT Pick and place machines Ability to design basic electronic circuits. Ability provide first line in-house Windows Desktop support for Production test & machines across multiple Windows platforms Skills in use of CAD or similar type software drawing package Awareness of Compliance standards i.e. UL, ETL & ATEX Able to provide in-house Windows Desktop support for production test and machines across multiple Windows platforms.
