We are looking for someone who has specialist technical knowledge in SharePoint and who is currently looking to expand their knowledge and skills. Apply those skills to: Utilise a broad spectrum of technology to produce part or all of the technical solution. Apply depth and breadth of technical knowledge and be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise. Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, and ensure learnings are shared for reuse. Core Skills and Experience 5 years of professional experience and a degree in computer science or related area; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8 years in total) Excellent knowledge of SharePoint including previous versions such MOSS 2007 & SharePoint 2013 Excellent knowledge of IIS Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, XML, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), CSS etc. Extensive migration experience of moving from legacy solutions to SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online on Office 365 Excellent knowledge of Windows Server Excellent knowledge of PowerShell and scripting techniques for automating the deployment of SharePoint and associated technologies Experience of designing and delivering SharePoint Farms (from low to high availability scenarios) Experience of designing and building SharePoint based solutions Excellent verbal & written communication skills Proven track record in delivering high quality documentation Proven track record of advanced troubleshooting and fault resolution Desirable Skills and Experience Excellent knowledge of Office 365 including SharePoint Online & Teams Experience in SharePoint 2016 & 2019 Experience in Records Management solutions for SharePoint Experience in SharePoint migration solutions such as AvePoint DocAve and Metalogix Content Matrix Experience in all areas of SharePoint Development Experience in designing and building SharePoint Workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio based) Experience in .NET Development (C#) Experience in configuring and administering Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Azure DevOps Server Experience in SQL Server Experience of working for customers based in the UK public sector Microsoft MCSE Certification As a SharePoint Engineer in DXC Technology, you can look forward to advancing your knowledge and career with training on some of the newest and best technologies in the marketplace.
