Narrowboat Engineer
Overview
Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Narrowboat Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity at our site on the outskirts of Derby, which will offer a wide variety of work on Narrowboats, including: Repair and maintenance of marine engines, gearboxes, and electrical systems. Attending emergency call outs to customers Offering advice and expertise to ensure work is completed to a high standard Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in the repair and maintenance of petrol/diesel engines, gearboxes, and electrical systems. We will also consider applicants from a electro-mechanical background, for example plant equipment, motor, or HGV mechanics. Specific training will be provided for the successful candidate. You will be predominantly based from our site in Derby but will sometimes be required to travel to the company headquarters in Lichfield if needed. The successful candidate will also possess a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport. The role is a full time role, offering 40 hours a week including alternating Saturdays.
