Overview

IMS (part of Trak Global Group), a leading telematics solutions provider, has an exciting opportunity for an Auto Electric Installation Engineer to join the team based in Bristol. We have been creating and providing telematics (black box) solutions for insurance, rental, fleet and automotive sectors since 2009. We undertake a variety of telematic, can bus and camera installations for customers on all makes and models of cars and LCVs. Due to growth, we are looking to fill some gaps across the country we have for mobile Auto Installation Engineers. You'll be joining a friendly team who care about each other, the business and our customers. Responsibilities: Installation and removal of black box tracking equipment, driver safety cameras and safety warning systems to the highest standard Testing, fault diagnosis and servicing of all company products that have been installed in vehicles Working with 12 & 24 volt vehicles and CANBUS Management and handling of stock Route planning Dealing with the customer queries on site (this could be a field of new cars or in dealerships) Liaising with the Head Office via logistics team Maintaining comprehensive toolkit Completing correct admin Participating in any training provided the by Company with occasional travel to the Crewe office There is an expectation of some overnight stays (funded by the Company) and driving over reasonable distances. Requirements: Full, Clean UK Driving Licence Experience in motor vehicle tech / auto electrician work Experienced in use of digital multi meter and vehicle diagnostic equipment Ability to locate, identify and rectify electrical faults Self-sufficient and organised Confident using a tablet / phone Desire to go beyond for customers to make sure the service provided is always the best Desirable: Experience of field-based working Motor vehicle / auto electrical qualifications Telematics experience Dealership experience Hybrid / EV experience What’s on offer: £24,850 base plus overtime (OTE £28k) Workwear will be provided Expensed and equipped service van with a fuel card (for business use) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays moving up to 30 days after 5 years Paid health cash plan - with upgrades to dental and optical Life insurance A range of discounts in High Street stores, restaurants, gyms, cinema tickets Bike to work scheme Christmas Savings scheme Pension scheme Opportunity to build a fantastic career with us Overtime as needed Sounds interesting?
