Can you demonstrate experience reading engineering drawings and calibrating machinery? Then please get in touch Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Calibration Engineer to join our client in the Bristol area. The company have been established for over 80 years and supply in to the aerospace industry. They supply in to some of the largest customers in the market and have a full order book. They are now looking for a Calibration technician to join the team with the following skill set/duties Duties Calibrating shop floor equipment Maintaing CAM and MRF systems (Material recovery system) Day to day calibration and inspection of out of date shop floor equipment Reading engineering drawings Using micrometers, thread gauges, plug gauges, verniers etc… Lone work Requirements Aerospace or Engineering background is essential Need to be able to read engineering drawings Must have calibration and inspection experience Hours Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 4 p.m. Friday 7.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89831426
