Overview
RF Planning Engineer- contract role in Reading UK Evaluate GA drawings from both site deployment and RF coverage perspective. - Evaluation of GA site design drawing with respect to coverage requirement of the customer. - Give suggestion for improving and maintaining the coverage footprint under the constraint of external limitations. - Site design and drawing evaluation according to type of infrastructure i.e. Macro Greenfield, rooftop, street work, sharing tower. - Evaluate the shared tower & shared locations with OLO (other located operator) - Provide input to RF Compliance of ICNIRP Zones and steps of mitigation for ICNIRP non- compliance. - Confirmation of Site geographical location. - Identify and escalate significant changes in coverage footprint as a result of site design changes. - Suggest tilt changes based on new site design for all bands. - Maintain database for all physical changes that have occurred due to design changes and the impact on network in clear auditable database. - Application of coverage predictions to improve weak coverage spots. - Allocation of site bearing and height according to the network coverage, capacity & traffic requirement. - Feedback on the quality of drawings being received and provide insight for improvements. - Present updates and issue reports to customer. - Get final approval from customer Radio planning function on the GA drawing while ensuring that coverage and capacity obligations are met for Huawei.
