We are now looking for a Conversion Analyst to join the Data Migrations team within the Professional Services division in our office in central Solihull. This is a data analysis role and will suit someone with a strong interest and in data, excellent attention to detail and a passion for problem solving. Experience with databases and SQL is essential, along with proven ability in data analysis, data handling and data-based decision making. The position can be offered as an entry level role to the right candidate who doesn't necessarily have all the skills and experience listed, but who demonstrates the willingness and ability to develop into the role and grow with the business. The Professional Services division is focused on delivery implementations of our software customised and configured to our clients’ requirements, and all of our targeting is based around scheduled delivery of work packages. As a result, familiarity with working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is essential, along with the ability to self-motivate and time manage. The primary purpose of the Data Migrations team is to design, build, configure and implement conversions into our software using the existing tool-sets in accordance with their understanding of a client’s source data. Required Skills / Experience: Solid understanding of core data science concepts (e.g. data vs. information, data exploration, statistical analysis, data typing) and estate agency terminology. Fluent ability in SQL (particularly MySQL and T-SQL dialects) Excellent general IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and remote access tools. Proven track record of attentiveness to detail and meeting of quality standards. Proven track record of multi-tasking and time management to enable production of multiple deliverables Ability to work under pressure and to specific deadlines. Ability to handle changes in requirements and scheduling in accordance with business needs.
