Overview
I am looking for an experienced BizTalk Developer to join a leading organisation based in Manchester As a Senior Developer on the team you will be responsible for providing both hands-on delivery and technical leadership for the development and maintenance of software solutions for the company’s key operational systems and processes – including software systems themselves and the integrations between them. You will help complete the organisations ongoing transition to a single, consistent set of cloud-based technologies (technology re-platform) and move to an agile delivery model in line with current software development best practices (Scrum/Kanban; continuous delivery) – and to continually improve and enhance that technology for new and changing business needs, once that transition is complete. You ill be expected to provide hands-on support & mentoring to advance the skills of other software developers, promoting the sharing of technical knowledge and adoption of technical practices through mentoring, team meetings / lunch and learns etc. as well as formal written documentation. To apply I am looking for an experienced Developer with strong Biztalk skills. You will have advanced knowledge of current industry best practice in software design, development and architecture, including architectural and integration patterns and, SOLID principles and proven experience in the application of agile engineering practices - TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration and Delivery etc. I am looking for someone with a broad understanding of supporting technology such as server infrastructure, firewalls and some knowledge of cyber security risks, secure development practices and standards, e.g OWASP This is a fantastic position within a company that is investing hugely within its technology footprint moving forward, they offer a great benefits package and competitive salary.
