Specifications Technologist

I have a vacancy for a Specifications Technologist in the Gtr Manchester/Lancashire area. This is a great team with a great working environment, and some long serving staff members who will be a great source of knowledge you to draw on. This is a large business who operate Globally with a vast product and customer base. This makes it a really exciting opportunity, but also a complex and demanding role, so it would require someone with prior experience of completing specifications. That being said, this role will focus on the B2B area of the business, so you won’t need experience of retailer web based portals, but a more widely used system such as Hamilton Grant or Qadex would be highly desirable. You will be liaising directly with both customers and suppliers, and as a company who import from across the Globe, strong communication and relationship skills will be a must. This is also an opportunity to add some variance to your position, as you will also be required to complete internal audits, but don’t worry if you’ve been solely Technically based and haven’t done this before – this is something they can provide you full training on. Normal working hours and a salary of circa £23-26k is on offer.
