Overview
Reed Property & Construction have a great opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician or CAD Technician with good building industry knowledge to join our Clients team on the outskirts of Newbury. The Company have a long history and specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of products for building facades and external walls which can be used on all building projects from historic renovations, building refurbishments and new construction projects. Working as part of the technical and design teams you will collect and ensure all relevant information to prepare quotes and budget prices (information shall include drawings, specification documents, information form architects or clients and project related), liaise with installers, architects and suppliers; Report to company managers; assist office colleagues to check orders, produce lists of materials and project information during the order procedure; assist salespersons and clients when samples and materials are required; prepare sketch and drawings when necessary as part of the pricing process. Attendance at meetings and site visits when required; Ideally you skills experience should include - Experience of AutoCAD to produce a range of drawings and read Architects plans Knowledge of MS Office Full UK driving licence Ability to work as part of a team to produce project information Architectural or Technical background Willingness to learn new skills Flexible attitude If you are interested in this opportunity and would like more information please apply now
