Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer Your new company This well established, multi-disciplinary practise focuses on exciting new commercial projects and bespoke schemes throughout the UK. They are currently looking to expand their team by hiring a structural engineer to work alongside an existing engineer and assist them in project completion. Local to rail networks and a main motor way, this practice is in a prime location for those who need to commute, drive or live local. Your new role In this role you will be working on mixed use projects below five storeys high, completing structural calculations and assessments. An important part of this role will be creating structural drawings utilising architectural software. Furthermore you will be attending project sites and client meetings as well as managing and completing contract administration. What you'll need to succeed To be eligible and excel at this role you will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit and ideally be a chartered engineer with commercial experience. You will preferably be competent at using software such as CADS, TEDDS and ROBOT however this will be down to the practices discretion. Alongside this you will receive a starting salary between £40,000-£50,000 and be able to work at a location close to local rail networks.
