Trainee or Experienced Recruitment consultant opportunity based in our award winning Preston Office Your new company This in an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team, in an award winning office Hays are the worlds leading specialist recruitment agency, and are a FTSE 100 organisation. Your new role You will be working on the Trades & Labour division of the Construction & Property team, which specialise in providing skilled Labour, Joiners, Plasterers, Plant Operatives and other tradespeople to some of Lancashires flagship building contractors. You will specifically be focusing on the East Lancashire, Wigan & Bolton area and will quickly become an expert in your local market. Day-to-day your role will involve business development, building new client relationships, developing existing client relationships, visiting various clients (on site and at offices), interviewing and developing your own candidate base, sending out marketing, organising your own diary, and developing your personal brand. What you'll need to succeed You must be confident in dealing with people (in person and over the phone), hold a full driving licence, and be able to show good organisational and sales skills, as well as have a hunger for progression.
