Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor opportunity in Cambridge Your new company You will be working for a groundwork/civils contractor which is based in Cambridge. This company has a strong pipeline of projects starting this year and are seeking an Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. Your new role You will be based in the Cambridge office and you will be office based. You will be reporting into the Construction Manager and they will offer training and support from day one. The role will involve supporting the construction manager in forecasting/ estimating and project delivery on schemes up to £1m. What you'll need to succeed Previous Quantity Surveying experience as a trainee or as an assistant, however they will consider someone who has previously been within the industry who has a commercial mindset and willing to learn. Degree in Quantity Surveying or NVQ/HND in construction is preferred. Driving license A positive and willing to learn personality.
