Overview

Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, a Customer Services Team Manager to work for a successful and growing business in the Morecambe area. Main purpose of job: Responsible for the day-to-day running of a Customer Service team. Ensuring timely and accurate service is maintained, requirements are fully met and all transactions are carried out according to company policies and procedures. Provide support for a designated sales area to manage enquiries from their relevant customers, completing actions and escalating as appropriate. Regulatory and commercially required information is monitored for accuracy, and shining a spotlight on gaps for root cause analysis ensuring continual improvement. Scrutinise reporting to access customer requirements can met, compliant, on time, in full, first time and profitable. To assist NCSM with company Customer Service strategy, projects and integration, along with team training and development. Duties/Responsibilities: To assist the National Customer Services Manager ensuring that all customer requirements are identified and transferred either into SAP system or recorded manually. To conduct performance management reviews, set targets, allocate duties and delegate effectively to create a highly motivated and effective workforce. Continually developing our client's Customer Service policies and standards e.g. Creating, reviewing and updating their procedures, working to targets/standards set by NCSM. Identify training needs for team members and ensure that training is completed. Invoices are actioned on a daily basis with the minimum of errors - credit note log/KPI to be used to monitor error rates. To ensure that the team members action all daily requests for our external & internal customers, ensuring that their requirements are met in full. To assist in maintaining relationships with customers both in writing, over the telephone and in face-to-face meetings. To develop and deliver ad hoc reports as requested by customers or the business. To receive and accurately input all orders/service requests for all sites, ensuring that procedures are adhered to. Liaise with relevant departments with regard to availability, transport and documentation to ensure that customer requirements can be met in full. To take accurate information from customers regarding complaints in line with the complaint policy. To ensure that the customer is aware of the complaints procedure and expectations. To ensure that customer queries are progressed to a satisfactory conclusion, liaising with the appropriate departments. To set up and maintain accurate customer records. To ensure that all Sales Co-ordinator-related NCR and complaints are handled within SLA's and both corrective and preventative actions are put in place To ensure that all invoices and credit notes are raised and dispatched promptly, and in line with the Invoicing Procedure. To cover for colleagues during sickness and holidays. To follow the Customer Services Mission Statement and to perform your duties in line with the agreed Standards of Behaviour. To ensure that general administration is accurately completed or issued on a timely basis. This includes issuing company literature and Duty of Care packs. To be prepared to travel outside office hours to customer meetings and overnight stays as necessary. Other Essential Skills: Leadership skills - 2 years' experience in managing a team High level of computer literacy Logical approach to problem solving and decision making Be able to motivate self, team Be able to think, communicate and present information effectively Ensure customers receive a professional service at all times.
