Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced analyst to join an established team that assesses the performance of complex systems operating in Royal Navy submarines. You will have more than 5 years’ experience of analysis in an engineering or technical environment; experience of maritime weapon system analytics would be highly beneficial. What we need from you: Passion for using data to help an organisation make good decisions Curiosity, analytical approach and aptitude for solving complex problems Confident working individually or leading a small team on an analysis task Effective and engaging communications, including written study reports and oral presentations Educated to degree level in a STEM subject Occasional travel within the UK and to the US A good understanding of system performance and statistical analysis Already hold a UK security clearance or willing to commit to security vetting What you’d do: Join a well-established team of subject matter experts. Provide reliability and performance estimates of equipment fitted in UK submarines. Innovate and develop techniques to identify equipment failures, using data analytics.
