Overview
Are you a hybrid Development and Support DBA? Do you want to work with a market leading Foreign Exchange company? A Fantastic opportunity for an experienced SQL DBA has become available to join the onsite team, supporting the established organisation and clients based in West London. As part of a team you will be responsible for undertaking Database Production Support and Development. Providing effective 2 nd and 3 rd Line technical support of all databases / servers used internally. You will be focusing on High Availability applications ensuring all DBA Support incidents are actioned in-line with expected Service and Priority Levels. With responsibility for developing and manage operational processes to track, analyse and implement the latest database patch and vulnerability updates necessary to maintain IT Security compliance. What do you need for this position? Extensive experience supporting high available client facing Production IT applications and databases, based on Microsoft technology Track record of managing a SQL estate Understanding of the Microsoft SQL suite Experience of designing and implementing SSIS/SSRS solutions Experience of applying ITIL best practices, including problem management. Experience of working with cloud-based solutions Experience of Power BI.
