The Role – Infrastructure Operations Engineer Following continued growth this market-leading organisation now seeks to recruit a customer focused Infrastructure Operations Engineer responsible for preparing and supporting IT operations solutions and services. Working as part of a team, you will ensure that services are delivered and utilised as planned. As an expert in one or more areas of infrastructure operations (network, server, storage), you will take technical ownership of the customers' installed environment and perform root analysis on high priority incidents, documenting recommendations to prevent similair incidents in future. Your Background – Infrastructure Operations Engineer To be considered for this role you should have at least two years experience in a customer service application role and have a strong working knowledge of the following: Server operating systems - Windows Server and Unix. Supporting and utilising databases - Microsoft SQL and Oracle. Supporting visualised systems - VMware and/or Oracle GlobalZones. Some knowledge of high availability systems and disaster recovery procedures would be advantageous but is not essential.
