Merco are recruiting band 7 SLTs to be a part of this busy Children and Young Peoples Integrated Therapies team on a locum basis. Your working hours can be flexible, but ideally you will be available Monday to Friday 9-5. This is a community based post which will require you to work flexibly across the West Berkshire locality. Alongside your colleagues you will be responsible for providing clinical support to the CYPIT pre-school Speech and Language Therapy Service, including running drop in clinics across the Wokingham and Reading area. You will have excellent communication and people skills, an understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people, and strong clinical skills in this phase of life. You will have experience of working with families from a wide variety of backgrounds and previous experience of supporting children and young people in the early years is essential.
