Overview

Unit Manager - Working in a specialist Demenita Unit within a very well-run nursing home. The home runs with multiple Nurses on shift, including a nurse qualified Deputy and Nurse qualified Home Manager who are hands on and support the home. RGN, RMN or RNLD ( Registered Adult Nurse, Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse ) Location: Penzance Pay: £40,000 Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday ( 7:30 - 3 / 8 - 4 or similar ) - Supernumerary hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dementia to run a fantastic unit within a very well-staffed and well-run nursing home in Penzance. As the Unit Manager you will be responsible for supporting a team of nurses and care assistants to ensure all residents are looked after as individuals and have tailored care plans. You will work closely with other senior members of staff to make sure the home is operating to the best standards and look for innovative new ideas to try. You will be working for an award winning company that can support you from day one The home has very low staff turnover and excellent team morale This role will mainly be supernumerary, Monday - Friday hours but you must be flexible when needed.
