We are hiring an experienced Treasury officer to join our small, specialist Treasury Operations team. The ideal candidate will have previous finance or treasury experience including some basic accounting knowledge. You would be required to have a flexible approach to your workload with the ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment. You will be expected to manage your own workload, be accurate, possess a strong attention to detail and work to strict deadlines. What You'll Do As a Treasury Officer your main responsibilities include: Settlement and management of deals including cash, debt securities and derivatives Daily management of collateral positions – derivatives and securities Cash management across all group entities including multiple currencies Management of daily and payment day transactions for securitisation deals Daily reconciliation of all treasury bank account and investigation of outstanding items Compliance with all internal policies, procedures and external regulatory guidance to ensure mitigation of key risks – in particular KYC and CDD Build and maintain relationships with internal contacts including Front Office and external contacts including banks Proactively identify areas of improvement to business processes How You’ll Do It Minimum 1 year experience working in a treasury environment (or equivalent) Attention to detail, combined with high energy and enthusiasm Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse data Excellent MS Excel Skills, knowledge and experience of using formulas and macros A proactive and inquisitive nature, with a "can do" approach Demonstrate ability to contribute innovative ideas to improving performance.
