Working with project managers and other business stakeholders in order to identify suitable suppliers for procured items / services and also identifying suitable alternatives where required to do so. Working alongside the bid team in order to support customer engagement. Working to develop and promote positive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Monitoring purchase orders and subcontractors to assess compliance with contracted delivery schedules. Working alongside your team in order to continually review and improve procurement procedures. Evaluating supplier proposals against company objective criteria in order to provide commercially solid supply chain offering the best value. WE NEED YOU, THE SUBCONTRACT OFFICER TO HAVE…. Strong experience in both supply chain and subcontracts/contracts Be able to demonstrate experience in both proposal work and review Experience building supplier relationships Process development experience MUST BE ABLE TO GAIN SC SECURITY CLEARANCE IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE… Experience working within defence / aerospace Awareness of contract law Knowledge of contract and T&C's used by UK GOV / MoD TO BE CONSIDERED….
