BI Developer – Azure Location – Hereford Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits The Role This is an exciting new opportunity to join a newly formed Data team for a large company in Hereford. The team have been formed to specialise in all things Data/BI related for the company, with there current project being their migration to Azure. They need someone with skills in both Database Administration and Development within a MS SQL Server environment, and Azure is highly desired. Key Skills & Experience · Implement high availability and disaster recovery with Azure SQL Database · Manage, administer, and secure SQL Server databases on-premise, at our data centre, and in Azure · Advanced knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers. Ability to tune and optimise query performance, recommend indexes · SQL Server, Azure · Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing This role would suit development focused SQL DBA’s, SQL Server DBA’s or Developers who have had exposure to Database Administration responsibilities.
