Teachers are led by an experienced Coordinator of English whose leadership is supported by three further members of staff who oversee specific areas of responsibility: an Assistant Coordinator, KS4 lead and KS3 lead. As a team, we have the opportunity to collaborate and share best practice through shared planning and subject specialist training. Training our teachers is important to the team, meaning subject meetings are often dedicated to CPD opportunities to ensure teachers have access to continued development. The successful applicant will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who holds QTS (or equivalent) and will be able to contribute to the planning of the curriculum from KS3-KS5. About Harris Academy Beckenham: Harris Academy Beckenham opened in September 2011, joining the highly successful Federation of Harris academies in London.
