PAY RATE: £11.00 per hour to £12.00 on weekends HOURS: Full time hours are available 7 days a week and full time Community Care Workers are expected to work two weekends per month LOCATION: Care Resolution provides care services through-out the London borough of Southwark. You would be expected to travel around parts of this area. Duties and Responsibilities The purpose of this role is for the Community Care worker to work flexible hours to support vulnerable members of our community to live their life to the full by visiting clients in their own home to help them stay independent and live a dignified life in order to maintain their wellbeing. You will be working with adults with physical disabilities, ongoing medical conditions, mental health and the elderly. Your key responsibilities would include; - Providing Personal Care, such as washing, bathing and dressing - Assist service users to prepare meals or cook and serve them meals - Domestic duties to keep their home clean, tidy and safe, Help with the Laundry - Promote physical and mental wellbeing by taking the client out and being good company for them - Identifying other support that the client might need to stay independent and safe in their own homes - Communicating and feeding back to head office Required personal qualities Respectful and mature attitude.
