Job Role: HGV Technician Day shift Location: Northampton Contract Type: FULL TIME / PERMANENT Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - DAYS - 06:00 - 18:00 My client, a market leading Heavy Commercial Fleet Maintainer with depots across the UK is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled and experienced HGV Technician for their purpose built maintenance facility based in the Northampton area. Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technician on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, you duties will include; Vehicle inspections. General servicing and pre-planned maintenance. Reactive maintenance as required. MOT preparation / Presentation. Correction of running defects. Full vehicle overhauls / engine and gear box repairs. In order to qualify for this exciting role with one of the UK's leading commercial vehicle employers the HGV Technician must have the following; Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles the hours of work for this HGV Technician role are 06:00 - 18:00 on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern The successful HGV Technician can expect to earn a basic hourly rate of £15.00 - £17.00 with overtime available for those that wish to increase their earnings. )
