Over the past three decades we have rapidly expanded our family of care homes and now have facilities in some of the most beautiful, relaxing surroundings in England. We currently have 30 care homes covering Mental Health, Nursing, Learning Difficulties, Rehabilitation, Challenging behaviours and residential care. About Victoria Lodge Care Home Victoria Lodge has a Dementia EMI unit on the ground floor where specially trained staff in Dementia care for the every need of our residents. On the top floor of the home Victoria Lodge has a residential unit for the elderly and those with mild dementia. In total the home has 63 beds. The management and staff at Victoria Lodge Care Home are committed to providing a standard of care that embraces all the principles of excellent care home practices. The resident’s physical and spiritual well being is at the heart of our plan of care which ultimately enables each resident to reach their desired goals and level of fulfillment in life. About the role About the role We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager at Victoria Lodge in ensuring that the home is maintained in accordance with CQC regulations as well as to line manage the senior team to ensure high standards of care and service are achieved within the home. You will also support the Home Manager in managing shift patterns, rota's, recruitment, supervisions/appraisals. Skills and experience The ideal candidate: Level 3 as a minimum but 5 NVQ or working towards is preferred Previous experience working as a team leader/deputy in a residential or nursing home Strong leadership skills Victoria Lodge Care Home Address: Bent Street, , Brierley Hill, Location: Brierley Hill Victoria Lodge Care Home is a purpose built home located in Brierley Hill, which provides accommodation for 61 residents.
