Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential support Workers to join a Trauma Recovery Residential home for Young People, within the Bacup area. You will be working for a well-established organisation which provide specialist therapeutic environments and support to young people who have been subjected to Child Sexual Exploitation or those who present early life chronic trauma or post-traumatic stress. As the Senior Therapeutic Residential Support Worker you will support the Senior Managers in the opening of this therapeutic service, ensuring all young people settle in well. Your other duties would include providing therapeutic support to the Young People. You will also act as a Key Worker for the young people and this will consist of supporting them out in the community, making accurate daily notes and report writing, observing the trends of behaviour and promoting the independence of the young people. The successful candidate will be passionate in providing the best person-centred care to the young people, a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalentis essential, hold a relevant experience of supporting Young People within a Residential setting and hold a full UK Driving Licence. In return for your commitment, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,000 inclusive of 2 sleeps per week.
