Stores / Warehouse Coordinator – GMP / GLP Livingston We are currently recruiting for a Stores / Warehouse Assistant (Supply Chain) with experience gained ideally within a scientific/regulated GMP / GLP environment for a newly created role. This role is on a 12 month contract basis. Your duties will be varied and you will be involved in controlling and organising the receipt of all raw materials, consumables and equipment and the storage and sampling of raw materials and consumables together with assisting in the development and maintenance of policies for warehousing and logistics within a GMP / GLP site to meet regulatory requirements. Key duties will include – Receipt and quarantine of supplies Ensuring adequate stocks of regular use items Take personal responsibility for the safe operation within the Warehousing Proficient usage of the relevant modules of the company’s electronic supply management system Assist in developing and implementing systems, policies and procedures for effective running of the supplies, taking into account any relevant regulatory requirements Receiving deliveries and ensuring that the material conforms to that specified on the purchase order and internal specifications Maintain all controlled documents and SOPS Inform QC of materials that require sampling and move all deliveries to the appropriate areas Operate first in first out (FIFO) policy and first expired (FEFO) for raw materials and consumables Perform regular stock audits and replenish as required Clear stores of any un-used and expired material as per standard operating procedures Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the warehousing areas Attend contribute and lead discussion meetings, deputising for department manager when required Carry out any other supply chain activities to meet the business needs You will be required to participate in the on call rota You will be required to travel between the company’s central Scotland sites Driving - You will be required to drive company vehicles including transferring materials between the company’s central Scotland sites (based locally) and have a current driving licence with the driving licence. This is an essential requirement. The successful candidate will have gained similar stores / warehousing experience within a structured (GMP/GLP) environment and have a driving licence .
