Overview

Manpower has been given a great opportunity to supply Class 1, LGV, CE Drivers to a leading provider of the car transporter service. These are full time, permanent positions. The company is based in Sheerness, which will be your starting point at the beginning of the week and where you will end up at the end of the week, but you will be delivering New and High Valued Vehicles to dealership across the UK, picking up in various locations mapped out for you by the scheduling team - you will receive a night out allows of £26.10 plus £5.00 meal allowance for every night away. Work is Monday to Friday and start times vary between 04.30am up to 8am We are looking for drivers with the right attributes, you need to have a positive outlook as you are an ambassador to our client with great route knowledge a wish to be more than just a driver, as this is a skilled profession that isn't for everybody. You will be working in all weathers and at times in confined spaces and at height, so you will need to be able to coupe in these environments -Whilst on the road you must be observant and safe at all times, being vigilant whilst driving, paying particular attention to overhanging branches, as this can cause significant damage Full training lasting up to 2 weeks will be given, some of which will be held in a class room environment, to those that pass the interview stage and driving assessment. We require that you have the following:- A full UK Class 1 Driving Licence - with no more than 6 points. Valid Digital Tachograph Card Full Drivers CPC Card In return you will receive 5 weeks paid annual leave increasing with L.O.S Uniform, Pension and Full PPE to do the job required Once you have passed probation period, you will be entered in to the bonus scheme which is on top of your weekly base salary.
