Overview
Production Engineer. Winners Recruitment are recruiting a Production Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Falmouth area of Cornwall. This is an amazing opportunity to join a large employer of choice and work on product optimisation and project completions. Your job as the Production Engineer will be to drive the use of lean tools as part of projects and day to day working practices. Lead and initiate key projects. Own and drive improvement of the work instructions set, also documenting. Responsibilities will include overseeing and providing support on improvement tools and methodology, helping to ensure the best method is used for any issues. Ensuring the effective root cause analysis. Monitoring and reporting production engineering KPIS. You will need a Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or HND/HNC. Lean manufacturing or Six sigma qualification would be an advantage. The successful person will be a strong problem solver, understanding engineering, scientific and technical information. You will be experienced with Production techniques, lean techniques and root cause analysis. In return you will get a salary of circa £32,000 depending on skills and experience plus company benefits and parking.
