Overview
The Company: We are looking for an Online Visual Merchandiser to join a Fashion Retailer based in Manchester. You will be joining a small friendly Marketing team & be responsible for the visual content across the brands website and social media. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-530pm. We are looking for a candidate with 12 months’ work experience or a placement in a similar role. The Role: Visually merchandising the site / categories. Responsible for the visual content across the website and social media. Presenting the products in the best possible way to maximise sales. Product descriptions & uploads onto the website. Ensuring that the customer can easily locate their desired product. Creating categories on site e.g. new in, party wear etc. Merchandising products together that complement each other. Encouraging customers to buy additional items & increase ATV. Ensuring products are added live on website & social media as fast as possible. Use analysis to develop category merchandising. Other duties as required. Skills Required: Have 12 months’ experience in a similar role within Fashion. Have strong IT skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Zendesk etc.) Have a Fashion related degree (Fashion Communications/Marketing/Promotion). Be able to work on your own initiative & Independently. Keen interest in fashion with commercial awareness. Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). High attention to detail.
