Production Planner
Overview
A leading engineering company who manufacture electrical components and related products to a range of industries are looking to hire a Production Planner for their manufacturing site in Thetford. The business are renowned for their straight-forward vision of delivering what their customers want and are growing fast. In order to be considered, you'll need to be naturally organised, with a good understanding of production scheduling from within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with day-to-day operations for production Manage the production schedule, ensuring it matches the production plan Monitor production volumes across all production areas Provide data for KPI reporting Create & manage forecasting in the production schedule Provide estimates for production time frames Adhere to ISO procedures and work instructions Liaising with buyers, marketing and sales staff Any other related tasks to maintain or improve production scheduling & execution. In order for your application to be considered, you'll need the following skills & qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years production planning Experience in a manufacturing and/or engineering business Great attention to detail Able to communicate tactfully and with diplomacy Able to establish and maintaining high standards of customer service. Ability to work independently and prioritise duties in order to meet deadlines. Experience of working with lean manufacturing would be an advantage but not essential Hours of work are: Mon - Fri 08:00 to 17:00 Friday 08:00 to 14:00 If you have the skills and experience required and would like to be considered, please submit a copy of your CV straight away.
