Helpdesk Administrator/Dispatcher
Overview
The Helpdesk Administrator/Dispatcher will play a key role in both scheduling reactive maintenance visits and planned preventative maintenance jobs as well as dealing with customer enquiries via the Helpdesk. Key Tasks : · Liaising with the company’s engineers and subcontractors · Scheduling reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance jobs to comply with deadlines and response times · Identifying engineer skillsets to align with industry regulations · Monitoring engineer activity · Co-ordinating with the Helpdesk team · Liaising with customers and providing a professional and solution orientated approach · Updating customer portals · Responding to customer enquiries The successful candidate will have the following skills : · Reasonable knowledge of UK geography · Experience of using Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel and Outlook etc · Previous experience of Cash 4 Windows database is desirable but not essential. · Excellent telephone manner · Experience using own initiative to manage workload · Flexible approach to working · Problem solving in a time dependent industry · Ability to work in a fast paced team · Previous experience in a similar role (Dispatch/Planning/Helpdesk) and experience liaising with engineers, preferably within the Fire & Security industry The role is based full time at our Design & Training Centre at Elland Road, Leeds. Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm with 45 minutes for lunch.
