Assistant Buying Manager
Overview
We are keen to secure applications from candidates to join a first class food manufacturing client based in the heart of Medway who are seeking a Assistant Buying Manager. This role will be mentored by a senior manager with vast experience in the market place and therefor this opportunity is rarely available. To be considered for this role you must hold a First Class Degree in a relevant subject and have had at least one years experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Along with this you will also hold a strong IT skills set including the full MS Suite and advanced Excel skills. The role will see you involved in identifying and managing commodity purchasing and some related services to FMCG food production, relationship management with key customers and vendors, and developing negotiation skills across a range of goods and services to achieve the best solutions for the business Strong analytical skills will be required to ensure full evaluation of all facts and trends are considered.
