Hospital Porter (COVID-19) - Warwick A hospital in Warwick, which is focussing on the treatment of COVID-19 patients, is recruiting for a Porter to assist with the movement of patients around their Coronavirus wards. The Role Please note that in these roles you will be working in a very high-risk environment. The role will involve working around confirmed COVID-19 patients, most of whom will be fully or partially ventilated. You will receive an induction/training session which will cover health and safety, infection control and specific task training. The main focus of this role will be the movement and transportation of patients who are confirmed patients of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The Candidate As this is a porter position, any previous hospital-based experience will be highly beneficial to your application. Due to the environment you will be working in, you will need to be able to handle difficult situations. A DBS is required for the role, so if you already have a DBS on the update service, this will be beneficial to your application. The Shifts There will be three shifts for this role, the rota for which is not yet confirmed, though the shifts will be as below: 07:00 - 15:00 14:00 - 22:00 22:00 - 06:00 The Contract This is a full time role, on an ongoing contract, which will continue until the Coronavirus pandemic has slowed to a sufficient pace, or potentially ended.
