We are actively seeking a Business Analyst to be based in our Royston Office on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities Perform detailed analysis of the business processes and procedures to develop business requirements, in coordination with the business unit group, which shape improvement and/or identify change and project implications Work with the Project Lead/Manager to select the appropriate techniques for the elicitation of detailed requirements taking into account the nature of the required changes, established practice and the characteristics and culture of those providing the requirements Identify and work closely with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements Identify and develop requirements to ensure quality solutions are developed, including due consideration to all dependencies, risks and issues that need to be considered Work with the JM IT Architecture and Systems Management teams to appropriate input and information capture during requirements and business case development Support the business to define and capture detailed business cases, including post-project costs and savings, value analysis and benefits realisation plans Develop and maintain all project and technical documentation in accordance with analysis processes to ensure best practice Undertake problem determination and/or resolution to maximum quality of outputs/ deliverables Develop supporting project plans, including both high level and detailed estimating definitions as appropriate to support and inform the planning process Use the escalation process where necessary to resolve any issues/ problems promptly Produce concise and timely reports, free from material mistakes, to enable accurate business decisions to be made Work as part of the business analyst team, taking direction from a Functional Business Analyst Team Lead or Project Lead/Manager for the specific deliverables Work within the approach, framework and direction of the overall Project Management Office Are you the ideal candidate? You will have: Business Analysis full-lifecycle experience with a proven track record of delivery within large, structured programme environments Well-rounded Business Analyst skillset, with a strong appreciation of Business Analyst methodologies and their application across diverse security, technical and business areas Demonstrate a good understanding of cyber security and system support in a large corporate environment. Demonstrable track record of operating effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, challenging and delivery focused Project / Programme environments containing blended teams (e.g. permanent, contract, vendor, SI, Business/IT/operational teams, offshore) Degree level qualification in an appropriate discipline such as computer science, qualified through experience or training in Business Analysis Methodologies (e.g. ISEB, IIBA, CBAP, CCBA) Experience of IT projects across multiple locations and business areas.
