Solution Architect – Product Development across PMO £650 per day 6 – 9 month contract Role based in Cambridge Working for a global semiconductor organisation we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join the team in Cambridge. You will form part of their Product Development and Product Delivery domain. You will be working with the Engineering Group via the PMO office as they will be implementing solutions across Business Process Management, Forecasting Management, Project & Portfolio Management across Dependency Management and Financial Management. You will be helping the business in how they pull their product together; how much effort will it be, who will work on it, how long will it take and how much is it costing etc. The ideal Solution Architect will have experience in the PMO space and have excellent stakeholder management; they have some very strong stakeholders so you will need to be able to listen, take in the details and challenge when required and have the ability to turn these details into physical designs to go through to the governance board so have strong presentation skills in a way the business will understand. Also looking for strong API design skills You will be a passionate individual with significant architecture experience across a variety of technology domains and functions. What will you be accountable for? Analysing the current portfolio to detect critical deficiencies and recommending improvements. Developing enterprise-grade creative solutions within a wide remit portfolio. Assist developing the companies Solution Architecture capability. Assisting colleagues as a technical/industry authority. Supporting business case and proposal development. Assisting in the delivery planning for projects and service improvement. Supporting the delivery of solutions across a range of technologies. Job Requirements What skills, experience and qualifications do you need? Working knowledge of solution design artefacts and processes Architecting and delivering customer web-facing systems Professional experience: Experience in, or a good appreciation of, several of the following functional disciplines: Business architecture Information and data architecture Applications architecture, including middleware Infrastructure architecture Application development Database management Project management IT Operations and Service Delivery This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89957269
