Overview

An amazing oppourtunity has recently arisen to work with young adults aged 18-30 with learning disabilites in a supported living environment, the job role is based in a theraputic rurally based service in the Mayfield area of East Sussex (Close to Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough and Healthfield) This is a great oppourtunity to work in a specialist care environment with young adults who have a variety of needs and learning disabilites. The home has recently been rate "GOOD" by the CQC and has an excellent management team in place, now thyey are searching additional support workers to join the existing team. You will be working within a sometimes challenging yet also a rewarding environment and you must have the ability to effectively communicate and work with other people. You are rquired to have at least a years experience working with adults with learning disabilites and also to be a car owner/driver, this is due to the rural setting of the home. You will be given the oppourtunity to work towards the NVQ 3 (if you dont hold it already) and your salary wil raise when you have completed this training course.
