Stock Controller

We are looking to recruit a Stock Controller - Repack to join our team in Banbury . In return, we are offering a competitive salary plus excellent benefits. What will you be doing as our Stock Controller - Repack? - Receipting finished goods onto internal WMS - Perpetual inventory cycle counting and adjustments - Troubleshooting stock queries - Control of non-conforming stock through hold / release of stock - Reporting of stock KPI's - Receiving supplier deliveries - Weekly inventory reports - Control of dispatch shipping (BDF only) Hours: 08.00 - 16.30 Your responsibilities will include: - Booking in finished products using a handheld scanner ready for put away - Releasing/completing orders using the WMS - Conduct perpetual cycle counting of repack locations and validate WMS to align - Conducting and resolving general stock queries from a production aspect - Co-ordinating and conducting full stock counts - Checking of receipts to ensure full traceability of products from receipt to dispatch is maintained - Recording any damages, taking digital photos of problem stock and liaising with internal departments to get the pictures loaded onto computer and available to send to suppliers as evidence - Investigating customer shortage claims (BDF only) - Control of non-conforming stock through hold / release of stock and weekly reporting of stock on hold - Inventory KPI reporting including periodic stock position, adjustments by reason code e.g. stock count, perpetual adjustment, damages, poor packaging, customer returns - Reporting any quality incidents via the QIR system - Ensuring all activities relating to medicine and medical devices are in accordance with Good Distribution Practice of medical products What makes you our ideal Stock Controller - Repack? - Good standard of Maths and English to a minimum of GCSE level - Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, SAGE and quick and accurate data inputting skills - Previous experience of working in stock control role - Methodical mind and attention to detail - Analytical with a good knowledge of WMS / SAGE / EXEL - Prioritising and Time Management ability - Problem solving capabilities - Ability to communicate at all levels - Ability to liaise effectively with a variety of internal networks - Self-motivation and the ability to be flexible to change DCS is a Top 250 private company in the UK – if you wish to be part of our expanding company which offers exciting opportunities for career progression, we look forward to hearing from you.
