Warehouse Operative

Our client in Romsey is looking for Warehouse Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis, going permanent after a 12-week period. The job involves dealing and handling Adhesives on an everyday basis the objective is to fill containers with a various range of Adhesives, cleanliness and accuracy are an essential part of this job. Duties: · Process orders for filling, providing accurate documentation in accordance with the company’s procedures. · Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with Supervisors and Managers for planning and for any other discrepancies or quality issues · To distribute and store in-bound materials. · Process, fill and label containers in an accurate and timely manner in order to achieve on time delivery targets. · Maintain stock to agreed levels and ensure accuracy through regular counts · Investigate stock discrepancies and provide feedback and actions to improve service · Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas · Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times especially due to the fact that you will be dealing with chemicals. · Carry out any other reasonable duty as requested by the Filling Supervisor Requirements: Experience of working in a warehouse environment Heavy lifting will be required on a day to day basis Forklift Truck License (not mandatory) Basic IT skills in excel, word and outlook Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 16:30 If you wish to apply or require more information, please call today: 01264 310 626
