Overview

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Chesterfield in recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join their Procurement team. The position is responsible for providing operational support to the wider business. Purchasing Administrator duties will include: - Liaise with the production and planning teams regarding lead times - Schedule deliveries of incoming material and set up delivery schedules - Send out purchase orders and request quotes from suppliers - Assist with raw materials stocks - Request suppliers quality certificates - Update supplier vendor performance reports - Support with month-end reporting - Place purchase orders to be with suppliers for required materials - Assist with Supplier performance monitoring - Support with updating Supplier pricing - Goods in support as required Elevation Business Support would be keen to speak to candidates with the following experience: - Degree educated (desirable) - Customer interface experience - Purchasing experience - Strong attention to detail - Proven experience of working within a Manufacturing environment - Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office programmes - Good communication skills, both on a written and verbal level - Being able to work within a quick pace & high-pressure environment Elevation Business Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on the recruitment of talented Business Support professionals across all levels.
