They are looking for switched on Project Managers with strong experience of managing ERP software projects (or very similar application software such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Dealer Management Systems, Logistics Software, Retail Software, Distribution Software, Merchants Software, Property Management Software etc). Your experience will have come from the supplier side - a software reseller, software vendor or software consultancy. Salary to £60k plus £5,500 car allowance and £5k bonus. You can be home based pretty much anywhere in the UK, or office based, with the usual travel to client sites. You don't need to live near Manchester, you could be anywhere from the South Coast to Scotland. If you are an accomplished Project Manager with a reseller, vendor or consultancy background and ERP skills (or similar), this is a terrific opportunity to move to a top 10 UK consultancy. You will manage multiple projects from new implementations to business as usual and need to have experience of mid to large scale projects from 250 - 350 days. This is a busy group and typically they have up to 150 software implementation projects on the go at once - of which some are waiting for client action, some are waiting for resource, and some might be stalled. Your job is to manage the clients' expectations, the relationships and resources and keep your project portfolio rolling forward as well as organising your teams of ERP Consultants and keeping track of each stage. Along the way you will handle risk analysis, change, issue resolution, budgets, reporting and key project milestones. Your job is to work with the customers on the requirements managing the whole process to delivery and go live. You will be an accomplished ERP Software Project Manager who is well organised, good under pressure and is an enthusiastic leader. A strong communicator with stakeholder and relationship / team management skills and the ability to develop, lead and motivate your project teams to achieve the desired results. You will be motivated and pragmatic and adept at creating the right project environment to ensure successful implementations of ERP solutions across a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, finance and retail. Your core skills will include the ability to effectively manage customer expectations, manage project creep, keep the project within scope, deliver profitable projects and find the commercial balance between customer satisfaction and getting the project finished on time and to budget. The job of a Project Manager can have many challenges - so you will be the type of person who is not easily intimidated and works really well when the pressure is on. These are two of many ERP Project Manager roles we are currently working on.
