JustPhysio are looking for Band 5/6 Neuro Phsyiotherapists to work with their client in the NorthEast Band 5/6 Physiotherapist Neurological Salary £24,212-£37,000 DOE Start ASAP Car essential Our client based in the NorthEast is looking for Physiotherapists to join their team . Our client is an independent family grown business providing life changing rehab for people of all ages with complex neurological needs. You will be community based so a car is essential for this role. You will be required to - Provide specialist differential diagnosis, clinical advice and therapy / management plans to clients with neurological impairments. Act as an autonomous practitioner, work unsupervised using initiative. Take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism, developing advanced skills and sharing knowledge and skills with others via mentorship, training and joint sessions. Be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice as appropriate Work within defined departmental and national protocols/policies and professional code of conduct to guarantee quality and safety Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for the quality of own work and submit performance data as required Evaluate client progress, reassess and alter treatment programmes as required, demonstrating contemporary evidence-based practice and choosing relevant outcome measures Develop a working knowledge of current policies and procedures relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults and understand implications for day to day practice. Undertake initial assessment of clinical risk as part of everyday practice, complete risk assessment documentation, report and record as appropriate Write reports in a range of styles as well as keeping up to date with clinical record keeping Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly where barriers to understanding exist Liaise with other agencies, relatives and carers to ensure good communication, and maintain client involvement Use specialist knowledge to inform sound clinical judgements for complex neurological rehabilitation planning including undertaking initial client assessment that represent the inter-disciplinary team contribution.
