Founded in 1998 E-zec is the largest independent ambulance provider that operates solely and exclusively in the patient transport sector. E-zec currently employs more than 1400 staff and operate a fleet of 550 vehicles. E-Zec hold 14 NHS NEPTS contracts across the UK. About the Role: As a Patient Transport Liaison Officer/Operations Supervisor, you must be committed to the highest level of care with strong communications skill. This position helps bridge the gap between hospitals and our operations team. Main Duties and Responsibilities Understand the pressures of the Trusts and the daily activity and pass on findings back to the control teams and manager · Transfer patients utilising a company vehicle · Assist crews with complex manual handling tasks Ensure that correct resources are deployed to the correct patient mobility meeting the Trust and patients’ requirements Work alongside control, planning and dispatch teams to ensure that KPI’s are achieved Attend daily bed - meetings with clinical site/bed managers, ward matrons Monitor escalation and supply on a regular basis supporting data, monitoring actions moving forward Support with investigating and responding to incidents and complaints Ensure that road and office teams are working to E-zec policies and procedures Ensure that road staff have a clean and tidy appearance and are wearing correct uniform PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential criteria Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good prioritising skills and organised approach to work Remain calm under pressure, ability to take the initiative with strong problem-solving skills Be enthusiastic and highly motivated Working successfully as a part of the team Excellent attention to detail Have good knowledge of the local and surrounding areas Having a good telephone manner Able to work flexibly due to unexpected circumstances In Return; You will receive full training to fulfil the role and uniform 30 minutes paid break 224 hours of pro-rota annual leave (including bank holidays) Auto enrolment into the NEST Pension scheme Eligibility for a Blue Light Card To apply please upload your CV and if you have any additional questions, we are more than happy to answer them.
