Procurement Officer
Overview
If a procurement role that offers day to day variety appeals, then this could be an ideal role Lusona are working exclusively with APUC to recruit a Procurement Specialist to work within the Collaborative Contracting Team which can be based in their Stirling or Glasgow Office. This is a split role and the Procurement Specialist will spend 50% of their week working within the Estates & Facility Team and will be responsible for a portfolio of contracts and the other 50% will support other areas of the business. This could include working within different category portfolios or working in other institutions The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the end to end tendering and contract management of the portfolio, including portfolio strategy, tendering, contract award and contract management. Experience and knowledge required for the role: You must have worked within a Procurement Role within either a Private or Public Sector organisation Understanding of EU & Public Sector Procurement procedures – training and support will be given Experience in tendering Knowledge of the principles of contract drafting and negotiation Have strong communication skills and a team player Flexible and adaptable approach to work Prepared to travel APUC absolutely prides themselves on developing their people and offer a genuine career path for outstanding employees.
